Mangiare Spitalfields

We were responsible for fitting out this high quality Italian fast food chain in London’s Spitalfields E1.

Our brief was to create a cost effective, modern environment with a strong, graphic look.

The space had to include a 150sq meter high-spec kitchen, a seating area for 60 people with full width display counters for pizza and pasta.

Our design team chose a simple yellow and dark grey colour theme with white carrara marble counter tops and exposed walls decorated with iconic black and white photographic posters.

To give an illusion of extra space a decorative formica screen incorporated sliding blackboard menus to run full width behind the food counters. This provided a visually stimulating backdrop for queuing customers.

Part of our design remit was also to create the signage and graphics including the shop front.
